The usual tired retort of one who thinks the government can and should do everything. Guess what...... I bet they'd not use Nukes, tanks or anything like that on the U.S. citizenry. That's just silly, stupid and childish.

One gun you're right BUT there's more than just "one" or have you not been paying attention...

What does he say? Really? "We are going to make this the highest priority." Can any statement be more empty? Who wants to lay odds that nothing is actually done? More bullsh*t from our leader.
I heard he quoted scripture. Seriously? Has he ever visited one of the communities affected by gun violence and mass shootings? But since Parkland is conveniently located close to Maralago, he'll visit. He even tweeted about the wrong shooting last time. How can a person with no empathy console anyone?

Trump is owned by the NRA and is complicit.

We are not ruled by England anymore. And now we have an army. We don't need people like Paul Revere anymore, riding around telling people to get their guns--we have an army instead, we have the National Guard. Just like the fire department--people used to be required to keep a fire bucket in the house and all would run to put the fire out. Now there are fire departments instead.

Now we have an army instead of needing individuals to keep weapons in their homes. If you want a gun for hunting, that's a different story, fine.
Your attitudes reflect many in New England. MA, CT, RI, NY, and others have very, very restrictive gun laws. However the Second Amendment is NOT about hunting. It is about protecting us from an abusive, tyrannical government both foreign, and domestic. It is also about protecting our Natural Right as Human Beings to defend ourselves, and our families from harm.

England may no longer be a threat, but violent criminals, other foreign countries, and even our own government can be threats. Do you blindly trust our government to always do the right thing? Do you trust criminals, and foreign interests that want to harm us?

The kid was batsh1te crazy but legally no one could do anything. He would have found a way to kill if guns were unavailable. I'm still waiting to hear what kind of drugs he was on.

The school and law enforcement did what they could do except put the guy in a mental hospital. That is what they used to do but now it's cheaper to give them drugs and let them live near YOU. That being the case I'd like to have a gun to defend myself.

Tell that to the Vietnamese, Afghanis, the Continental Army, and others that stopped super powers, and just made it not worth their while any longer.

This is typical BS from the far left, how can Trump or the NRA be complicit, that's akin to saying that the CEO of GM is complicit in drunk driving accidents.

In most households both parents have to work just to survive. No one is home to homeschool.

They should have paid more attention. Even the local law enforcement should have also.
Yesterday in Washington State a grandmother turned her grandson in because of what she found in a journal.
