The income tax & Federal Reserve were both created in shady backroom deals in the 1910s, but didn't become a drain on society until FDR seized all of gold owned by Americans and replaced it with paper dollars in 1933. $10,000 fine and jail if you didn't comply.

The GOP are fiscal incompetents. Whenever they are charge and they enact their "economic program" a few years later invariably and inevitably the system crashes. Then a Democrat is elected to clean up the mess. Problem is that the American voter can't remember more than 24 hours after the last crisis and so they re-elect incompetent Republicans again.
Next time the crash will be as bad as the great depression. The Republican voter should actually start reading books. Fiscal illiteracy is no way to run a country.

ferd chill, you have clearly not thought it through. this policy cuts federal revenues which means there will be less money to meet our commitments. Austerity has failed every time. The last time it was tried in the EU just a couple of years ago look what happened.
This tax plan simply hands about 60% of the cuts to the top 1% and turns negitive for most people as it phases out... to extend requires doubling down on debt, and still would leave the federal gov short on funding.
ask yourself which states get hurt the most when federal funding it cut... Hint it is mostly Red states.

In plain English: the Trump tax plan are CASH GRANTS to the WEALTHY funded by PUBLIC DEBT FINANCING that all of us and our kids will pay for decades to come. This "tax reform" is like taking a cash advance out on the nation's Visa card and handing most of the cash to the wealthy and sticking you, me and our kids with the bill.
