If you were honest you would admit that most major media sources serve their own ends under their own agendas--
The problem is that we don't agree on what those ends really entertain--
I feel that the alt-right media has done more to destroy the root values of the Constitution while operating under the freedoms it guarantees..
The lies coming out of Hannity, Limbaugh (in his heighday), and newer voices like Laura Ingraham are just total spin--no factual basis--almost every thing taken out of context to fit their world/political view
Their access to millions has increased with the growth of Fox News and the Internet with its host of independent radio/pod shows that find listeners across the US in areas large and small--and allow all the people who never felt they "fit in"" to find their voice--
The fact that most of that spiel appeals to emotion w/o any rational investigation of facts is something people who use it to support their opinions just proves they lack credibility period...
But the emotional lie is always the one that is believed and least likely to be subject to investigation and insight
IMO what you would classify as the "liberal" MSM provide both positive/negative aspects of issues under media investigation--
The NYTimes certainly did this with the recent story re the white national mid-western guy who was portrayed very sympathetically with his "normal" life espousing alt-right and some neo-Nazi beliefs and behaviors---
And NYTimes caught a lot of grief for what many readers felt was too skewed to the positive in normalizing an attitude more people feel is basically anti-American
And the paper didn't want to really self-examine whether there were mistakes on its part--
But TO ITS CREDIT--those critical letters were shared with viewers, there was discussion with the writer re the story, and there was discourse...
You never see that type of examination on something like Fox and Friends, or on Jones's program, or any others like Mike Huckabee's where facts are never allowed to get in the way of the agenda of the people espousing their views...
You will NEVER find anything remotely critical of Trump coming out of Fox
Even Steve Bannon won't criticize TRump himself for mistakes he has made--he will roll the blame over to McConnell and others in GOP establishment because Bannon wants to destroy right and left establishments for his own chaos regime...
So if you NEVER provide a balance of pros and cons, you aren't really a NEWS source
You are only a mouthpiece for someone's agenda
And most of the time the people paying the bills control the agenda and most of the time truth never enters the equation...
And since you can't admit that there is any unfairness or bias on the part of the media YOU choose to cite as your sources/evidence, you offer little credibility in support of your arguments...
