It can't be compared to Watergate because there was a crime that started an investigation. So Nixonian territory it is not.
Nixon didn't get in trouble for the break-in. It was all about the cover up.

Alan Dershowitz, liberal darling of the Looney Leftists (who admits he voted for Hillary) says:
‘You Cannot Charge a President With Obstruction of Justice for Exercising His Constitutional Power’

"If Congress were to ever charge him with obstruction of justice for exercising his constitutional authority under Article 2, we’d have a constitutional crisis,” he explained. “You cannot charge a president with obstruction of justice for exercising his constitutional power to fire Comey and his constitutional authority to tell the Justice Department who to investigate, who not to investigate. That’s what Thomas Jefferson did. That’s what Lincoln did. That’s what Roosevelt did. We have precedents that clearly establish that.”

"...With Nixon — hush money paid, telling people to lie, destroying evidence. Even with Clinton, they said that he tried to influence potential witnesses not to tell the truth."

Yeah, can they produce such a witness that is not tainted ?

Testimony from someone who admits to lying to the FBI & is charged with doing it, and is now being blackmailed by the FBI ( all legal naturally ) with having his life destroyed.

A blind man could see the plea deal and know what was said too.
" Who do you want me to finger and what do I need to say " ?

Both are illegal break-ins for political purposes.
You forgot something.
  • Watergate - Absolute proof that it happened.
  • Trump/Russia - Absolutely no proof that anything happened.
Your point fails, absolutely.

Dershowitz is the darling of RWingers. He's regularly on Fox spouting his nonsense.

Is this the same lawyer who claims he tweeted about trump knowing Flynn lied to the FBI? This guy will very soon become trump's ex-lawyer and Mueller's witness on obstruction of justice.

Seth Rich stole the DNC data and gave it to Wikileaks. It was an inside job for which he paid with his life.

As for Hillary's emails, seems to me at least five foreign governments had access to her server according to one of our intelligence services if I'm remembering correctly.

See my post about Alan Dershowitz.

Thanks, was wondering when Dershowitz became a "darling of the left". Is it the Harvard thing?

Dershowitz has always been a self-admitted liberal Dem. He voted for Hillary. You people are either uninformed or very young. Because he tells the truth and knows about the law, Looneys don't like hearing the truth. Ever hear the expression "It's the message, not the messenger?"

Yes, Trump is turning into a madman. I cannot wait for all of this to hit the fan...
