Iraq declaires victory over ISIS today.

No link. Apparently its not that big of news. It was mentioned on cable. At one time Iraq was a big story.

Iraq says they have control of their border with Syria too. So what now ? .

Does this mean the U.S. isn't going to kill little kids playing soccer on Baghdad streets anymore?

That would suck. I just put in a full week's worth of work to pay taxes so that could happen.

Yes, collateral damage is always sad, but I bet you would like it a lot less if ISIS was killing OUR kids playing soccer in main street USA. There are no bombs built yet that will pick and choose who they are targeting. We didn't start or want this conflict, they came to our doors and brought it to us. We are just responding.

Since Obama created ISIS and Trump destroyed it, the media have engaged in a blackout of this great news.

Once again, you have selected alternative facts. ISIS was not Obama's doing, it goes way back before his time. Secondly, Trump did not destroy ISIS. The word "destroy" means GONE, and they are far from gone. Your boy has done zero to lessen their impact.

Hmmmmm I wonder if Trump and his travel pause and hard stance against terrorist islamist extremists put enough pressure on the average Iraq citizen that they in turn put pressure on their complacent leaders to finally crack down and toss isis out of their country?

Of course the mass media is not making this headline news, they can't make it seem like Trump is actually doing something good besides it won't be long before Mueller turns up some actual crimes that warrant the supposed evidence in his dog and pony show investigation. isis on the run? Nothing to see there folks move along and lets talk RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA !

When Obama took office the estimated number of ISIS operatives was somewhere around 50. Granted their resurgence was not completely his fault but he certainly made some very bad mistakes. The three primary ones were pulling troops out of Iraq, taking a hands off approach to internal affairs there and very poor choices in handling the Syria civil war early on before it devolved into a sectarian war. I think we can also add underestimating them.
