Good luck with that. Governing is hard work. That's why not many people want to do it. And it is pretty thankless, although you can buy you and your family some very nice gifts with the lobbyist gifts and what not. And you usually have to be rich to win elections. Yeah, good luck to you my friend.
Not only that but the founders of the country wrote the Constitution in a way that made it hard to govern. We do not want an all powerful government because a government that can give everything can take away everything and that includes your liberty.
Tax cuts and deficit spending do stimulate the economy. That’s pure John Maynard Keynes. It’s an effective tool when properly used to shorten or ease the effects of deep recessions. It’s not likely to have a huge effect now though, because we’re running close to a full market employment economy now. That’s why it’s the consensus of the preponderance of economists that the amount of growth from the tax cut won’t come close to keeping the deficit from growing and passing a larger bill for future generations to pay.
It's clear the failure in DC is our fault because we've become too complacent. So at what point are we going to do things ourselves? That will be the day the tide turns? Playing musical politicians while most of the public remains apathetic and more concerned about their iPhones and Facebook posts than the future of the country is our problem. And it's at the fault of We the People! We The People are the first three words of the US Constitution and We the People are most responsible for the mess we have now.
I think the Founders put "We the People" at the beginning FOR A REASON!

There is no "we the people". Our politicians are bought and paid for by donors and lobbyists.
I received raises from my employer(S). Yes. I went from making $20k in 2008 to $69k in 2017. My income increased every year since 2008. Not all with the same employer, but there were opportunities for advancement in my industry and I saw steady employment throughout in the Northeast and the South.
