The 2007-08 financial crisis, as bad as it was, is nothing like what we are about to have to suffer through because of Trump.

And yes, Obama did save us from that and got our economy on the right track. Trump has destroyed it.

Looks like the economic geniuses in the administration failed to consider the possibility that the Chinese might respond with something besides tariffs in response to our side's tariffs.

You are 100% correct. GWB and his henchmen and the "hands off " policies (translation: allow people to screw others) destroyed the US Economy. Obama and friends tried to slowly rebuild it - they were at least 2/3rd of the way there when the Orange one took over and held the patient - who was treading water - underneath the waves.

It does sound like you get the idea. Republicans make things so bad with their selfishness that it often takes decades to recover.

Sadly its been the history since the 1990s. Democratic presidential administrations (especially with one branch of republicans in congress) are the best.. Republican presidential administrations struggle to put it mildly and fluctuate far more..

Lol, no, not at all. Its a joke to try and ascribe these things to one administration. Decisions made in one administration can take years or decades to see results from, and they are then significantly clouded by world events and other uncontrolled circumstances.

Trying to point to one economic event and tie it to one particular POTUS is like looking at a bowl of spaghetti and instantly proclaiming you know where one strand starts and ends. In all likelihood, you have zero idea.

So your stance is China did not devalue it's currency due to tariffs imposed by Trump?
