Well, this should go without saying - but we are all looking too close. The best thing to do is nothing.

Or, if one cannot "take it" they should sell out and go their own way.

Nothing we can do about any of it. The die is cast and this is why the greatest investors don't react to stuff like this.

How do you know the great investors are not reacting? Im sure many investment firms are rebalancing their books, trying to lock in their gains before they evaporate. When a person like Buffett tells you something publicly, you have to keep in mind he doesn't want people pulling their money out of his fund.

No doubt Trump will attack this like everything else - he will give away more money by borrowing it from our children and grandchildren.

Whether that quiver is empty or nearly so is an open question. The zero percent current forecast shows it's empty.
The "King of Debt's" solution to a recession would be more debt financed tax cuts for the already rich. And if we keep piling up debt to unmamageable levels then we'll just refuse to pay. Problem solved. Easy peasy.

Just sold a bunch of stuff - feels good. Had bought some apple and tesla when they sunk...keeping that. Looking at what I own I can't bring myself to sell most of it because those dividend plays are likely to do well when Trump puts in negative interest rates in an attempt to "stimulate".

I guess that's somewhat good news.....that I don't feel pressured to sell, because I am older and don't have the multi-decade time frames. But I want some cash so I can back up the truck in case things really sink.

Keeping the powder dry, I guess. Money isn't going to help most of us avoid a disease.....in this case.

Is that you, Peter Lynch? Or Warran Buffet?

Glad to hear you are going to the top. You'd have had to put in a couple million to make serious profits on a one day bounce. I looked at some of mine that I bought recently and the 2K I have made in 3 days just is not any temptation.

That's usually how it goes. You get a big slide, bounce, slide again...

The only negative I can see is that it annoys you....
