It is ridiculous that they are wiling to shut it down to protect their future voter base... excuse me ... to protect the poor downtrodden people that live on the fringe of our society... excuse me again..... Let me start over.
The Dems are willing to shut down the Government to protect non citizens that by their very nature are breaking our most basic laws and they are willing to make citizens suffer the results.
People should remember this come election time that the Dems play such petty politics. Trump wants to restore law and order to our broken immigration system. The Dems want to tell us how evil this is.
The media is on their side so somehow this will be spun to the point where it will be Trump's fault that the Gov. shuts down while the Dems will skate towards the moral high ground while not noticing the millions of law abiding citizens and legal immigrants that they roll over.

Since when did Democrats care about oaths or enforcing the laws of this nation? Let alone American citizens? They ARE likely to play this game and harm Americans in order to help foreign criminals. And you can count on our mainstream media to lie, spin and distort the truth and blame Republicans for the Democrats decision to put criminals first. This has been going on for years.

Let me remind you that the GOP controls the House, Senate, AND the White House.
If all of a sudden the Dems walk away, the GOP can still govern (in theory). Put blame where blame is due.

The crises was created by Trump. Everyone knows this. He handed it over to Republican controlled congress which thus far has done nothing.
The GOP is willing to compromise between it's own disparate factions to keep the government funded but not willing to compromise with the Democrats in like manner, although the Democrats have been bargaining in good faith. This entire crises is unnecessary and the public is paying attention.

Spot on. Republicans have excluded Democrats all year, would not give them time to read the tax bill of over 400 pages filled with scribbles before holding the vote. Republicans are in control of all three branches. If the government shuts down, Republicans absolutely own the result. #Republicansownashutdown
