People talk all the time before they have facts. In this case it was state on the news that no fatalities, and only one minor injury. Should we wait then before commenting? For how long? Is a day ok? What if someone dies later?
Who would think the right would suddenly become the PC police.
Not standing on being PC at all and I'm not a right winger or a Republican. I'm a middle of the road Independent. Lean right on some things more left on others but nowhere on my spectrum do I find a train hitting a truck, even a dump truck while Republicans are on board, to be amusing.
Didn't realize that made me PC. Just have a different sense of humor than you and apparently from the lots of others you claim are s******ing about this. I don't feel shamed in any way an I'll have to say I've never actually been accused of standing on PC before. First time for everything.

Shrug. Could be, but I got to say...as a kid...we made horrifying jokes. I think it is kinda PC to be upset about this, especially given the facts known when it was stated. And...theres nothing wrong with being a little pc either.

This is actually where Trump has brought down the level of civil discourse in this country. We now use the defense of, "Yeah, but look at what Trump tweets." Using Trump is a sad defense for when you say something wrong. Someone getting killed by a train is no time to joke.
That's a lot like "Other than the motorcade, how was Dallas, Mrs. Kennedy? It's not funny. There's mo irony in the accident today.

Yours targets someone directly traumatized-not funny. And has no humor in it. And yet....There are a ton of Lincoln assassination jokes. And they are funny.
Why? because no one is alive today that knew him.
Additionally the joke mentioned was made BEFORE people knew someone died.

No one died when he made the joke. He was not making a joke about that person’s death. That’s not the point, anyway. The point is, Trump fans claim to be anti-PC as long as it gives them license to act like asses. When a democrat behaves in the same way, all of a sudden Trump fans become indignant.
That's why I stopped watching CNN years ago. You may wish to consider the same.
Same here. I don't even go to their website anymore. It was my go to site for many years until I started to see their agenda.
