Personally, I think the original joke is funny (assuming no injury, as he did), though, it’s a joke I wouldn’t make. It would be in poor taste if someone made the joke knowing someone died.

Still though, my point stands: It’s hypocritical of Trump fans to take offense to the original joke and intent.

Fair enough. I usually can't get this much out of you.

Part II: Having learned of the injury and death do you believe the deletion of the tweet and the apology were sincere and sufficient?

Full disclosure: I didn’t read his apology. But, yes, I’d say deletion of the tweet and a sincere apology are appropriate.

Maybe you should read his apology.

Okay. I will agree to the CCN commentator being axed if the rest of america agrees with Trump getting axed for saying he can shoot anyone. Seems fair. And the same degree of rationality.

I personally don't find this funny, but I have a morbid sense of humor and I can't catch myself from laughing at the Las Vegas shooting and 9/11 jokes or the Holocaust jokes either. So I see where people like greywar are coming from. I do agree that their are times when it is too soon for certain jokes, but some of the jokes people make about things like The Spanish Inquisition are extremely morbid and the only thing that keeps people from not pointing it out is that it happened 100 years ago and not yesterday.

Only a hater like you can equate something that did not happen (Trump saying he can shoot anyone) and something that actually did happen (this train incident).

Has anybody answered the following questions?

1.) Why was the truck on the tracks in a position to be hit by the train?

2.) Why did the truck not pull off the track as the train approached?

3.) Why did the train not slow down or sound its whistle as it bore down on the truck?

My apologies for not putting up a post that tries to bash Democrats or Republicans. But I've been curious about the train crash, and though this might be a place to get some info about that.

And yet you have no trouble taking what was said out of context. What dos that say about your character?
