I believe there was an effort among certain powerful government officials who had a deep hatred of Trump to subvert the Presidential election. It is the closest thing to a soft coup attempt that we have seen in this country in a long time.

Nixon said "People have got to know their President is not a crook"..........Yes we do. If we are not 100% sure that Trump is clean, how can we move forward as a nation ?

As we know from history, Nixon WAS a crook, but we only found out by the digging of very dedicated people who cared about America. Exactly what we are seeing with Mueller and the reporters who are making sure our current President is not a crook.

Because there is no "running it's course".

The "investigation" will drag on as long as Trump is President.

Because it's purpose isn't to "investigate" anything.

It's purpose is to keep a cloud of suspicion of corruption surrounding Trump in order to minimize his power and effectiveness as President and to lessen his chances of being re elected.

That and to act as a distraction from corruption in the Dem party.

Actually, there is a mountain of evidence.

Folks are conflating “evidence” with “proof.”

Right-wingers don't care about the nation or making sure the president isn't a crook. Just look at the lunacy posted around here. They think "the memo" discredits the investigation, which it does not, but even if it did, that same line of reasoning would also mean Hillary and Obama are innocent. Hell, they even think there can't be collusion "because it would have been leaked by now." Again, based on that logic, every insane right-wing slur thrown against Hillary and Obama must also be wrong "because it would have leaked by now."

Trumpers don't care about the facts or truth; many of them I suspect would be fine with how opposition party members and voters are handled in 3rd world nations. All they care about is protecting Trump - a man they wouldn't have trusted with their money, house, or wife a few years ago - and discrediting the "evil gubermint" so we can dismantle law and order and turn the nation into a tyranny with Trump as the dictator of their dreams. It is disgusting.
Hmmm...

I'm of the opinion that we aren't eVEEERRR... Gonna see eye to eye. So, I'm gonna suggest to my fellow Trump supporters, when Nancy Pelosi smiles, duck and cover. When Nancy Pelosi scowls, Smile! :d

A highlight...
Because of the memo and previous revelations, we know that swamp creatures are embedded in the top of the FBI and the Department of Justice. Some used their power to try to tip a presidential campaign based on their personal politics.

They conducted a sham investigation of the Democratic candidate and misled federal judges to spy on at least one associate of her Republican challenger.

1. Irrelevant.....as it has been since y'all started whining about it the second after the election.

2. With an opponent as unpopular as Trump she still only squeaked out 3 million.

3. You lost.....get over it already.

The game is over.

Trump can now turn his attentions to running the country and draining the swamp even further.

Let's start with the arrest of Hillary & Bill Clinton, and continue on with anyone at FBI that was engaged in treasonous activities in an attempt to unfairly influence the election. Who's with me?
You're wrong.

Trump had not been vindicated. Nunes memo is unreliable without the source data, which Nunes himself (and all but two people on that committee) hasn't seen. We need to see more data, else you're just declaring something on the basis of an unvetted theory.

The four pages proved nothing except certain members of the GOP of betrayed their country and their voters in attempting to deflect attention from a serious matter of foreign interference in our elections.

Release the whole thing or nothing.

No, you are wrong.

Trump has nothing to be vindicated from.

He has in fact been vindicated from the court of Public opinion... Aka fake stream lame stream main stream media.

How special. It's been almost 15 months since the 2016 Presidential Election.

Are you now aware that President Donald J Trump is our President?

If so, at what moment in time did you become aware?

Do you need therapy? The Kitten Bowl is on the Hallmark Channel. It might help.
