Let's be honest here about this IF Hilary was in office the right would want to leave NO stone unturned if she was under investigation. NONE. So why does the right believe that Trump deserves a pass? While I agree no evidence so far as turned up against Trump that doesn't mean there he didn't have anything to do with Russia.

Interesting idea, but I doubt it. It would be serendipitous for him if the investigation did fail, however. There's a lot of circumstantial evidence, but perhaps no smoking gun.

You should say that Giuliani pushed some of his buddies in the NY office to reopen the investigation and announce it in public. While investigating members of the Trump campaign and not announcing it to the world.
