All the fiscally responsible Republicans will experience a miraculous rebirth the very instant a Democrat returns to the White House and/or one or both houses of Congress swing back to the left.

And not an instant sooner.

You can bet your $1.50 tax break on that.

These fiscal conservatives are the new liberals. Welcome to the party of fiscal responsibility: the Democratic Party.

Yes arguing for fiscal irresponsibility and profligate spending: This post is the prime example of the new conservatism.

And these conservatives are nowhere to be found, of course. It shouldn’t matter much really. They’re going to blame everything on Obama.

The funny part is that all these appointees are making Trump, the big macho sheriff in town, look very, very bad. They give Trump no respect and Trump doesn’t do anything. He’s becoming the big chump in town.

Mmm...NO.

They’re NOT progressive, they’re CONSERVATIVES who CONSERVE as much as they can for THEIR own benefit and profit.

Funny all of the "conservatives" on this thread calling conservatives that are deficit hawks progressives. Seems all these posters are the progressives.

There is no real right wing in America unless it’s pat Buchanan style populists and nationalists . Republicans are not right wing and never have been, they have always been open border , in favor of job outsourcing , globalist etc .
I understand your skepticism. Republicans have been blowing up the budget since Reagan and Democrats have been reining it in. Yes, Obama had to spend to get us out of W's mess, but Trump and the Republicans for no reason whatsoever have blown a hole in the deficit and added another trillion to the debt.

My position is not out of line.
