More like lying to the people who elected you. Now, the lying will be a stain on her reputation and follow her wherever she goes. Lying is never a good thing, and having to leave your job for having a problem with the truth is bad. So it really sucks to leave in disgrace, for lying for this administration.

She probably got a reality check on the seriousness of all her little white lies.

That's my guess too. Trump found out she wouldn't lie for him and blew his top.

Why would she leave the Whitehouse without leaving for a new opportunity equal or better?

Trump is disloyal and discards people. He's pushed out several people over no good or BS reasons and has been trying to push out Sessions. If he's letting his enemies tell him to push out good and loyal people so he's isolated or surrounded by opponents, then he's not very smart.

So far everyone leaving has found having worked in the trump WH to be toxic on their resume.
