Actually, she's trying to get the people in her base to come out for the 2018 election. She also promised to sponsor a reparations bill. She didn't actually promise reparations, because that's a promise she won't be able to keep, and she knows that.
and the fact is unless she herself writes a reparations bill, there is no way for her to KEEP THE PROMISE of sponsoring/cosponsoring a bill...and she know that too...she just made a promise that she cant keep unless she does it herself
and just because someone puts in a bill(sponsors) or cosponsors a bill, doesn't even mean it will make it out of committee (just like the bills to abolish the 22nd amendment by Serrano and Hoyer)....and she knows that too, which means she is FOOLING/lying to her constituents
Oh, the horrors of people being paid a pittance for generations of unpaid labor.
