Here we go again! How many times does it have to be explained to you and yours that Trump never said that Mexico would write a check for the wall but there are other ways to make them pay for it before you stop parroting, "I thought Mexico was paying for the wall"? It's getting old!

Agreed. How would any American not see this arrogant POS for what he is? He's ok with stealing dreams from our own citizens because the Mexican government is too chicken sh*t to provide it for their own?
The omnibus spending bill gave more than $700 billion for military expenditures. Why not use a small fraction of that (less than 3.5%) to get the Wall built by the military?
It sounds like an easy way forward to me.
Good idea. But realistically, Trump is going to use that money to fund the wars he and Bolton will initiate.
Bolton has been waiting years and years to get promoted from Fox News to the WH. He is not going to miss this opportunity to put his warmongering belief system into action, and Trump will go along.
Also, the military has its own plans for that money, which they think are more important to national defense than building a wall to keep poor Mexicans on their reservation.
Trump is their commander in chief though, in the military, it doesnt matter what the little guy wants to do, its all about what your superiors are telling you to do.

Our military is only allowed to build walls, bridges, etc. in foreign countries.

So is the obsession with that stupid wall. This is why it's a bad idea to be a one-issue voter. Trump won over a big percentage of his supporters when he first made that promise, and it's the only thing many of them cared about. Now that they don't have it, they're either furious or in denial.
