Note that none of his supporters will touch this. Even they know that an American president, fresh from totally and completely dissing America's allies on the world stage, bestowing respect on a Communist dictator's regime by saluting one of his generals, is something they have no defense for.

In a communist country, the working class owns everything equally. Certainly, that is not the case in North Korea or anywhere for that matter. China calls themselves communist but it's not really accurate. China has embraced capitalism in many respects while keeping a strong central government.
A socialist government owns everything and the government distributes what the people need to survive. The goal is equality and a majority of North Koreans are equally poor, similar to Cuba. The problem is the government plays favorites and gives incentives to keep the people in line. North Korea is not pure socialist but more socialist than anything else. Cuba and then North Korea would be the best examples of socialist counties that exist today. North Korea has 100% literacy rates, universal healthcare and free higher education. All staples of Bernie Sanders ideals.
North Korea by definition and their own declaration is socialist.
By throwing the "commie" word around Joseph McCarthy would be pleased and probably surprised that the left is now using his tactics for policial gain. If you are unclear who Joe McCarthy is google him. I though we put that whole dark history to rest but apparently not.
Amazing how many on the left are ignorant of the details to forms of government that they favor.

That poster is a party before country voter. She admitted as much when Trump won the nomination. She had been ripping him up until that moment, swearing she could never support such a man, but the moment he became the GOP nominee she stated that she now had "no choice" but to vote for him.
So no, you are not wrong. Party before country is what matters to her.
