I was just about to mention that. If a raid is the course of action it's because either the raidee has been uncooperative about turning over documents or they are worried the evidence will be tampered with or destroyed. Not a good image for the President's lawyer either way.

Absolutely, they would need to convince a judge and other justice department officials that there was serious criminal activity. I wonder if Sessions and Rosenstein were informed of the search warrant.

Michael Cohen has only one client.

Well Sessions is not recused from Stormy Daniels so, and I am not quite sure, it appears he signed off on this.
Awkward!

It strikes me that a warrant and raid over Stormy Daniels (even with campaign funds payoff) would be a bit over the top, suggesting that this is about something far more serious.

Stupid is as stupid does. Cohen could be disbarred if Trump doesn't come clean. And if he is prosecuted--no pardons from Trump for NY state. Couldn't happen to a sleazier lawyer.
I have no idea about what type of a lawyer this guy is, but you are nuts if you think Trump under any potus's executive power cannot pardon or commute any sentence(assuming he gets convicted).

If this is all related to the paid whores claim, it just goes to show this is a political witchhunt.
Funny how the FBI is trying to get papers in a raid, but stonewalling everyone regarding FIA requests.

BS the Judge could sign a search warrant if there was probable cause that any felony was committed, maybe you missed that seminar in law school?

Repeat that, trump supporters:

There's one exception to attorney-client privilege: the intention of committing or covering up a crime or fraud.

Either he’s a hack partisan willing to risk his career and freedom or there is something real.
