Low’s bill does not seek to outlaw all religious or moral instruction regarding sexuality and sexual orientation, nor would it ban the sale or possession of generic religious texts such as the Bible. Christian dogma might form the basis of efforts change a person’s sexual orientation, but the Bible itself is not a “gay conversion therapy” manual.
Don't kid yourself.

California liberals now are going after the bible because there are controversial terms in there that some liberals see as trying to change one's indentity.
You do realize that the second link proved the first link to be false (negating the whole thread to begin with?)

I'm an atheist. I find it interesting that Democrats think discrimination Christians is OK but against Muslims is not. Like the The view host thing that happened recently.

What makes you think this?

I don't think they believe discrimination is OK for anybody.

I agree.

The free exchange of ideas is the underpinning of democracy. Attempting to regulate speech always has an unfortunate outcome.

Christians and Christianity are not perfect. We need outside commentary because we are often in need of reform. The same can be said of Islam. The same can be said of Islam. The same can be said of Islam.

To some people, criticizing Christianity is "cool", but the same people would consider criticizing islam to be Islamophobia.

Mocking Christianity seems to be OK, as shown by this attempt to censor the bible. The View host apologized only after "public pressure". The media is constantly referring to the White Christian Male in negative light. Not Christianity, but the Book of Mormon musical mocks them, where's the outrage there? Just today I read that the Bible is on GQs list of most overrated books. Imagine if they put the Quran on there.
