Prohibit SOCE from being performed on anyone, not only children under the age of 18
Prohibit the advertising or sale of SOCE as a service
The bill also appears to prohibit SOCE from being performed by any individual, not just by mental health providers...
Why is this necessary? If it doesn't work then it doesn't work. But who knows, someday therapies may be found that are effective. Some people do want to change their orientation. How is it fair to them to make all attempts to help illegal?

Thats what i dont understand either, Ive seen a handful of formerly gay people claim that conversions did work for them, so not sure why anyone would want to make them totally illegal, its simple, if you dont want to be converted, dont go have one done, if you do, than you are free to have one...where is the problem? LOL
Some people swear that hypnosis works for helping them to quit smoking or over eating, while others say it is a total scam, but we dont see anyone trying to outlaw hypnosis as a result, DUH, its just an option for those that want to try it, nothing more, nothing less.
This is similar to how society views the treatment of pedophiles, since we do not currently know a method to effectively treat them, its easier to just say treatment is impossible, they will ALWAYS be this way, but just imagine if they used this excuse in the past, we wouldnt have half the effective treatments that we have today!
Its better to say, that we do not yet know an effective way to covert someone from gay to straight.
