There are around 200 times as many people killed by guns in the US compared to the UK, even considering the difference in population that is a HUGE difference, until the US comes anything like as close as all other first world countries I wouldn't be comparing if I were you, it just makes you look daft.

I don't need this incident to tell you that gun control doesn't work. Australia had a low gun crime rate before the ban.

The US is at least 200 times bigger than the UK in both size and population. Not to mention the fact that most gun crimes in the US are localized in major (and I add democratic) states and cities. Plus, your stat is incorrect. The US has roughly 11 gun deaths total per 100,00 while the UK has .23. Hardly 200 times more.

What! Are you sure! I thought it was 5 times the population yet 200 times as many gun deaths!! You might want to check your facts!

Facts aren't important when you are pushing your own agenda.

Error on my part about the population, but you're still wrong about us having 200x more gun deaths. Per capita we don't.

More Americans killed by guns since 1968 than in all U.S. wars, columnist Nicholas Kristof writes | PunditFact

Yeah, riiiiiggggghtt! LOL. That's only to 2013 as figures beyond were estimated without the Vegas and other mass shootings.

We already have a lot of illegal gun control laws that don't work to curtail PEOPLE COMMITTING CRIME. Enforce existing laws, don't make more new ones that only restrict the law abiding.
