Let the cycle begin. Fake outrage, spineless political leaders promise change, NRA says more guns, not less guns are the solution, quiet period for a few weeks or months. Onto the next mass shooting and Rinse & Repeat.

Ban ban ban!!!

A ban doesn't ban them. I'd hope you all get that by now.

While I agree , somewhat. I think the larger problem is young adults have not been taught how to deal with problems in life, that it isn't always about them and sometimes life isn't fair. They have no way to deal with this other than anger that just manifests into the violence we see.

.
Most of the teen/ young adult shooters are somewhere on the Schizophrenic spectrum, a biological condition. There is no cure. It’s not a matter of teaching kids how to deal with problems.

Most of these shooters have a history of emotional instability. It impacts males far more than females. Nearly impossible to diagnose serious mental illness in early stages given immature cognition and emotional immaturity.

Is that true? 1966, for example, had 4 school shootings, including the one at the University of Texas that killed 17 and injured 31. 1998, exactly 20 years ago, had 6 school shootings.

They are certainly more frequent now and more deadly now too. Modern firearms are more efficient and the offenders tend to have multiple guns and more bullets.

Yes, let’s ban them. Too many guns out there.

Terrible but completely expected with the lax gun laws present in the USA and the media glorifying every school shooter.

Stop it. 20, 30, 40 years ago our firearms laws were much more relaxed then now. And even the evil AR15 was available, yet we are seeing these shootings now ? Sorry, you are just plain wrong. Something is causing these kids/young adults to do these things and it isn't lax firearms laws.
These kids must be getting their firearms from their parents, yes?
