Are you under the delusion that women stop having abortions just because they’re illegal?
They simply go back to the back alley and coat hanger abortions, which are much more dangerous and unhealthy for everyone involved.
Poor women have a right to a safe professional environment, funded by society, to get an abortion if they so choose. It’s not your business nor does it concern you.
A vote against safe legal abortions is a vote for dangerous back alley abortions, some of which will be beyond 24 weeks. Poor women do very sad and desperate things when there are no legal options.

While women should be able to have the procedure if they choose, no one should be forced to pay for someone else's abortion, especially when so many people find the procedure morally objectionable.

I cannot even address this irrational and illogical tripe^^^^^. It's actually worse than narrow-minded but due to forum TOS, I will refrain from telling you exactly what I believe it is.

Perhaps abortions wouldn’t be necessary if, I don’t know, we didn’t treat the poor like crap in this country.
Good for those women to exercise their right to abortion and being responsible, in a country where an alarming number of people believe women don’t have a right to their body.

Again, the reason the woman died was because the Eighth Amendment was so restrictive that her doctors could not exercise appropriate discernment given the medical circumstances. Now that the repeal is in effect, Ireland is now free to create new laws around abortion that will serve the public better.
Not convincing. Like a lot of libertarian "ideas" this ignores the decision to engage in intercourse. You cannot separate that decision from the results of that decision. If you don't want to create life, then don't create life. But justifying murder on the basis of property rights is ludicrous. Eviction clearly does not refer to things of your own creation but rather to trespassers who either never possessed or have lost the permission or right to occupy the property. A fetus is neither, since the woman voluntarily invited its direct antecedent into her body.
Libertarian ideas are the only ones that make sense; the problem is most righties and lefties don't have the intellectual capacity to understand them.
The woman didn't necessarily consent to having her property violated; even if she did it's her right as the owner of that property to change her mind. As early fetuses cannot survive on their own they have no ability to give consent to occupy the woman's property; hence they are parasites.
It's not murder if someone trespasses on your property; it's called self-defense and is the reason for "Make My Day" laws.
At the end of the day, abortion is legal and every woman on earth has a right to it.
Hell, they even have a Plan B pill they can take before they get to the abortion stage. Life is about providing women with all the options they need because it’s their right and their body.
Everyday someone gets an abortion, guess what, it’s none of your business.
1) abortion should not be legal, that’s the point; 2) no individual has the right to kill another human, absent extraordinary circumstances; 3) people are killed and murdered every day, and it’s everyone’s business as members of society to prevent the killing of innocent humans beings.
