No it isn't. You would be quickly roused from your home and tarred and feathered as people die in the streets.

Maybe substitute 'answer' for 'solution'?

Our daughter and her husband, both in their mid 50s and owners of a small business are facing shopping for new insurance. She retired early from one of the major airlines because her back and shoulders could no longer handle the heavy bags ticket agents handle each day. Now her conbra is running out and they will be on their own in a few months. Guess what, talking about pre existing conditions they are having trouble finding a plan that covers pre existing at a price that is anywhere in a reasonable range. If they can't get it why should those with Obama care get it?

It's still illegal for companies to discriminate due to pre-existing conditions. As a result, I have a hard time believing your story.

Sounds like they are in the "donut hole". That is an issue with Obamacare that the democrats wanted to address.

Obviously covering pre-existing conditions is great for the person with the condition, kinda sucks for everyone else.

May have to wait for Obamacare plan until enrollment period. Although may be some ways:

Except for the fact that "everyone else" will eventually have a preexisting condition at some point too, so..
Plus a lot of people are born with preexisting conditions, like kids who have heart issues even tho the're normally fixable, or some kid who gets diabetes. These people didn't do anything wrong, weren't behaving irresponsibly, are you willing to say to these people and their families that they shouldn't get coverage? Essentially that's like saying "tough s--- kid, now drop dead". Sorry, but I can't see any society pretending to be decent and modern say something like that, and there'd be riots in the streets if the politicians try. Plus, what about pregnancy? That's a preexisting condition to, are fine with the births in the US dropping to zero because any couple planning to have kids gets penalized? How does that make a society healthy?
