I suppose it would be nice if someone like the OP could make an intelligent argument about illegal immigration which is a concern to most of us legally residing here. This is a kind of grasping at the straws post. It isn’t clear what the legal status of the fire starter is and even if he is illegal statistically he doesn’t represent most aliens who do not commit crimes beyond crossing the border without permission.
Look who they sent to arrest a guy who committed a crime against the ecology. ICE. The left must be apoplectic trying to figure out whose side to take.

It's a bit of a fuzzy line between overstaying and actually being resident somewhere in the US, not that it matters overly much. Short of putting ankle monitors on tourists, there's no real way of keeping people form overstaying.
It's not just tourist visas. 2/3 of illegal immigrants enter legally with visas but never leave.

You clearly don't live in Colorado.
There is only one side here when it comes to preventing wild fires.
If you leave before overstaying 180 days or less, you'll be banned entry for 3 years. If you stay longer, then the ban is longer.
It seems obvious this guy was a pot-tourist.
