I suppose it would be nice if someone like the OP could make an intelligent argument about illegal immigration which is a concern to most of us legally residing here. This is a kind of grasping at the straws post. It isn’t clear what the legal status of the fire starter is and even if he is illegal statistically he doesn’t represent most aliens who do not commit crimes beyond crossing the border without permission.

Look who they sent to arrest a guy who committed a crime against the ecology. ICE. The left must be apoplectic trying to figure out whose side to take.

Put me down for $5 on a dope loving visa overstay...or, the boyfriend of someone in Code Pink or Antifa.

It's not just tourist visas. 2/3 of illegal immigrants enter legally with visas but never leave.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/latino/...ntinue-n730216

Two-thirds of those who joined the undocumented population did so by entering with a valid visa and then overstaying

Overstays have exceeded those entering illegally every year since 2007, and there have been half a million more overstays than illegal entries since 2007.

If you leave before overstaying 180 days or less, you'll be banned entry for 3 years. If you stay longer, then the ban is longer.

It seems obvious this guy was a pot-tourist.

Except it was Costilla County deputies, but I guess alternate facts are kind of a standard debate technique now.

Hey, a gay slur. I guess if you can't unload on him for his skin color, it will have to do.

Typical behavior for that side, sadly.

It happens all the time around here, every day. If Trumplings don't like the factual information that is being presented and have no way of refuting it, they simply turn to insults. That, or they pivot and "but Hillary/Obama."

I merely used tourist as an example, but yes - it's the 21st century way of crossing borders. But hey, let's sink 25 billions into a wall.

Well, of course not, but facts are never in play when people start these sorts of threads.

You clearly don't live in Colorado.

There is only one side here when it comes to preventing wild fires.

Why?

The Netherlands is much closer to Denmark.

I bet he's been in this country for a lot longer than pot has been legal in Colorado.
