LOL, and what qualifications do you have to make such a statement?

*yawn*

Having an economy is pointless if you don't have the means to defend it.

Laughable how the GOP talked about wasteful spending, a balanced budget for DECADES but just cannot stop spending. Of course their end plan will be cuts to Medicare, Social Security because of the exorbitant debt.

It is, though.

Here's another trick--the U.S. military is by far the biggest socialist entity in the country, if not the entire world.

Socialist collectivism requires State protection; free-market capitalism does not.

Protect Our Country

Problem is, the country will be broke and so will its inhabitants. But hey, we'll be alive.

We need new military hardware. Our newest aircraft carriers and fighter planes were built when disco was king.

Yes, defending a country requires a coordinated effort by an organization that has full access to the land within the country's borders (i.e. can execute eminent domain in an emergency), consistent revenue to develop weapons systems, and a compulsory enlistment (if absolutely needed in a time of war).

Your whack-a-doodle system offers none of this. Your 'militia' is 100% voluntary (good luck with that if you are ever invaded and an insufficient number of people volunteer to fight). And since there is no governing body, there is noone to stop another country from occupying land that is unowned.

I love this word: noone. Reminds me of something Trump would do with his female interns during lunch.
