I agree.

Will Trump and congress man up?

I suppose it depends on what Netanyahu allows them to do.

Thank you! For some reason (and your guess is as good as mine), Israel is held to different standards.

Isreal is a racist apartheid state that was illegally created.

The 'arid wastelands' will literally kill people 'wandering through them' in days, if not hours. Thus, I believe this statement, and most of what you write about this subject, is probably just hyperbole.

OK, I'm back with more information, with the assumption that you are actually ignorant of history and not making a snarky remark.

There was a strong Jewish presence in Arab countries (and Iran) for centuries, and they were expelled. Take Iraq, as an example. At one time, Baghdad was 40% Jewish, and Jews numbered 135,000. Today? There are seven or eight Jews in the entire city.

And this repeats throughout Arab countries. Jews were forcibly expelled, and their land confiscated. Here's an interesting map (again, assuming you are open-minded enough to accept new knowledge):

You telling me you don't believe that Arab countries and Iran expelled close to a million Jews, and stole their land? Take a look at the map I just posted above.

So. Don’t tell me that 700k people just walked away from their homes and had no right to return to them. The overwhelming majority of Palestinians weren’t combatants.

And “one nation attacked another?” What nation in this case? The Israelis had plans to ethnically cleanse Palestine long before the war started. And they’d begun to attack Palestinians before the war for independence.

I’m not absolving the Palestinians for crimes committed too. But the Jews weren’t just sitting around waiting to be attacked by Palestinians. They were already ACTIVELY terrorizing the Arabs.

And you feel this way about us being attacked on 9/11?

Should we have just said “well ok, we deserved this because our leaders went around the Middle East screwing things up and bringing misery to the Middle Eastern people?

Were you so insouciant then?

Arab on Arab violence has exactly WHAT to do with this topic? That’s irrelevant.

The Europeans killed each other by the tens of millions in one century in numbers that Arabs couldn’t approach in a millennium. When did we ever say that any European tribe should be disenfranchised based on that fact?
I was addressing your comment on victims of ethnic cleansing.

Poor Israel....so misunderstood.

You know, I do want them held to the same standards of other countries, so given all the human rights violations they're guilty of they should have sanctions placed on them by everyone in the western world.

I'm NO fan of Muslims coming out of that part of the world, but I'm sickened by what Israel does while acting like it's all reactionary. It's disgusting what that country gets away with.

Nobody needs a military until... they need a military. I'm really astounded as to how any country that has been physically overwhelmed and occupied twice in the past 100 years and liberated by someone else's military could think that they don't need a military. Unless of course, they have been rescued so many times that they just assume somebody will save them.

I totally believe they were expelled. You said they were expelled to ‘wander through the arid wastelands.’ That is, at best, hyperbole, and more likely, a bold-faced lie.
