I did not realize that the pre-season had started and was watching a CFL game last night. After that I watched some news show where a cop was chasing a black dude down the street and then paused, took a stance, and shot the guy running from him in the back. Kneeling is not going to be enough, I'm afraid.
This nonsense will continue until the owners feel a BIGGER pinch in revenues.
The big money comes from advertising.
People who have objected have cancelled their NFL packages from Direct TV, cancelled their season tickets stopped watching on TV, etc.
Veteran organizations are voting to NOT show ANY NFL games at their clubs.
NEXT they will go after the advertisers where the BIG money is.
When the advertisers see a drop in sales, things WILL happen.
Just my thoughts.

Nonsense to WHO??? YOU are IRRELEVANT and the NFL will go on whether you're crying about some players PEACEFULLY kneeling during an anthem or not!
Seriously...if they were disrespecting the flag or being disruptive in any way during the anthem, I would be upset....but KNEELING??
I don't think it is even productive at this point and I wouldn't kneel, but it's their right and it isn't disruptive in anyway (some are even kneeling with their hand over their heart).
YOU are a BIG BABY if that really offends you that much!!!
My wife is ecstatic. Another season I won't be watching football.
Yeah, peaceful protest for a noble cause is such an agonizing thing to behold at a sports event that has no reason whatsoever anyway to play a song written to the tune of an old Brit drinking song by a guy that said this...
Key himself owned slaves, was an anti-abolitionist and once called his African brethren “a distinct and inferior race of people.” Slavery and the National Anthem: The Surprising History Behind Colin Kaepernick's Protest | Black News
An obnoxious difficult to sing tune that should have been replaced years ago and relegated to to the dustbin of history along with the electoral college. Americans sure hold onto some stupid outdated ****.
And to think that a *****-grabbing grifter and birther uses it to deflect attention away from his abominable actions and folks fall for the feigned outrage and hop on board the Trump obtuse insanity train. Pathetic!
