If they want to kneel, let them kneel. Jesus, none of you give the second thought about the flag unless someone else tells you to get your panties in a wad over something like this.

It's a protest over the inequities in the justice system.

Fretting over the actions of others that have no impact on his own life is a hallmark of a conservative thinker.

NFL preseason sees kneeling, raised fists, during national anthem | Fox News

NFL players continued to protest during the national anthem on Thursday night as the league began the first full week of its 2018 preseason.

Some players held their fists in the air, while others decided to kneel, despite the controversy surrounding the action.
The NFL players can stick their fists where Richard Gere sticks his jerbils.

But they are unequivalent issues. The NFL players are simply saying: yo, police, quit needlessly targeting and/or killing black people. The alt-righties are saying: we do not accept non-white people living in the US and want our hatred to grow into a political movement to change the values of the USA.

The former is sensible and justified, the latter is a perversion based on selfishness, self-importance and hatred.
Oh. You must be referring to that organization of hate called Black Lies Murder.

Similar to some people losing their minds over the confederate flag.

There is only one way that this is ultimately going to end. The national anthem will stop being played at some point.
And I for one, say good. The crybaby players want to turn it into a circus -- let's take away their platform. And let's leave the politics out of it, and just play the games.

I wonder if those who just left the beer stand dropped their $14 Buds and stood at attention with hand over heart or if those on the pot stood up mid poop to sing out loud?

I doubt it.
