People were dying. Guess that makes them "crybabies" for standing up for people??

Great logic

And I for one, say good.

I think they should stop playing the national anthem before ball games. I don't see the point. I prefer a prayer should be said, not the national anthem.

You sound a bit of envious.

I find it amusing that those decrying peaceful protest because it purportedly disrespects the flag have no problem with the NFL (with the consent and assistance of the armed forces) commoditizing the flag to drum up business for the league. What's more disrespectful, exercising the liberty the flag symbolizes by quietly protesting a social issue in front of it or using the flag as a means to prey on people's patriotic proclivities to induce them to empty their pockets in support of the NFL and its corporate sponsors?
Good questions.

Person crying about strangers quietly kneeling near a flag on their television calls them crybabies.

The lack of introspection and self-awareness is astounding, although not totally unexpected.

A moment for "thoughts and prayers" would go over well, right?

Trump claims the players don't know why they are kneeling -- he says that because he still doesn't know why this started.

That's on him and his incompetent staff to keep him informed.

Exactly.

The reasons have been laid out time, and time again, but he's too imbecilic to get it.

They can do that on their own dime. People dying due to their own stupidity. So they stick up for stupid people.

Suffice to say, NFL is on my do not watch list.
