All of a sudden people are against the NFL because their fearless leader told them to be.
All of a sudden I don’t like stupidity being aired on TV. I watch a game, not a protest. If I was s owner, the player would be fired. My money, my rules.
Its amazing how many posters dont know or dont care. Multi millionaire athletes can protest while employed, but the avg working american does not have the same rights and may get fired( very likely in many companies) for doing the same thing.
That's less to do with the money players make than the simple fact that the NFL is a union shop, and rules regarding player etiquette during the anthem are not in the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The NBA, on the other hand, has an anthem rule in its CBA, which has been enforced with player suspensions (Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, for example).
People doing that nonsense on my dime would fired.
Sure. And if you owned a business and an employee kneeled every time he saw a flag during working hours, you could fire him. No one is disputing that point.
The NFL owners apparently see things differently than you do, otherwise they would have collectively bargained differently.

You're not watching a protest. You're watching a game. I'm sure you'll survive those 30 seconds. The next victim may not.
Stop being a traitor, treasonous unAmerican citizen.

Wait until this stupidity hits the owners in the pocket book.

You might be waiting a long time, given that their revenue was up last year despite the protests.
