Sure it is, its STILL A JOB. they can protest anytime but they choose the anthem for many reasons I don't care when they do it honestly its still a job. Playing a game or not its a JOB.
I'm sorry, I just don't understand why anyone on either side gives a rats ass about this anyway. Does some guy kneeling during the anthem affect your life or family in EITHER a positive or negative way? Is this issue worth more than a moments thought let alone the effort to create 12 pages of forum posts on this forum alone in the past 24 hours?
Get a clue people..... you are being played. While you are busy being outraged, your government is doing many things that deserve your attention. As Americans of any persuasion we need to focus and debate things that actually matter.
If you don't like the fact that they are kneeling, don't tune in for that part. Some people just love to b*tch and moan about any and everything.

The REAL issue that these players don’t want to address is the outrageous amount of crime that is committed nonstop in America’s cities.
Not one argument made in this thread has explained how anyone has a moral obligation to continue watching football games if they decide they don't want to anymore, for whatever reason they choose, including the anthem protests.

Aren't they doing it in hopes someone gives a rats ass? Why do it at all then? I do believe this is all about the attention and using an entertainment platform to reach as many people as possible.
