This is correct but he was one of those leading the charge afterwards.

Say what you like about McCain, his policies, his military service--the man had class and was well-respected by his peers.

These are things that will forever escape the loud-mouth hypocritical boor in the WH.

LAWL, you sure bashed him before Trump came on the scene. Nobody is buying the false indignation from you guys.

Now you love him because he hated Trump. You used the work "hypocritical". I'll say no more.

As a politician I didn't care for his pro-war beliefs but as a man I believe he proved his mettle with his military service. Political beliefs often change, the make-up of a man generally doesn't.

Nixon served in the military even though he had the ability to opt out. He didn't. It doesn't excuse the rest of his life.

So what are you saying? Everyone who gets glioblastoma does so because they've offended God? Come on, man...that is really sick.

You want to excuse his crimes? Fine.

Then why did he support the same illegal policies in Central America when he joined congress? Does he get a pass on that too?

I guess he should have requested some deferments for bone spurs.

Love him or hate him or somewhere in between - McCain said it shouldn't be only the poorest of the poor that are sent to the front lines while rich young young men line up doctors to grant them 'deferments'
