To put it mildly he is my worst politician of all time. Since I became aware of him in 1993 I have hated every word he said and every position he has taken. His vision of the Republican party is the polar opposite of mine. Perhaps the most insidious thing about his is his neocon foreign policy. He is the only person I feel genuine hatred towards and I hope he goes to Hell.
So people you disagree with politically belong in hell?
McCain served his country and we can thank him for that, but he is not any better than any other politician. When he said that he knew better than the people what was good for them during the 2008 campaign, he became a swamp creature to me. I am glad I did not have him as a senator.
As a politician I didn't care for his pro-war beliefs but as a man I believe he proved his mettle with his military service. Political beliefs often change, the make-up of a man generally doesn't.
BS. He committed terror in Vietnam, then came back and supported the same policies in Central America.
If a man can’t be blamed for the crimes he did, AND he can’t be blamed for the illegal policies he voted and supported, then what can he blamed on?
I guess he should have requested some deferments for bone spurs.
Love him or hate him or somewhere in between - McCain said it shouldn't be only the poorest of the poor that are sent to the front lines while rich young young men line up doctors to grant them 'deferments'
McCain wasn't subject to the Draft. He used family connections to keep himself out of that Democrat meat grinder, by getting a very hard to get, one he was unqualified for, position in the Naval academy. He finished dead last in his class too.
Proof enough that he was hypocrite. Thanks for the post.

Per your own link it said he was cleared of wrong doing.
The guy is dead and while he may have made some mistakes (because he is human), he tried to do his best for his constituents.
