So you make fun of a gay man because he doesn't agree with a liberal agenda. I see. That's what I thought.

Its great for Trump and myself, because as I've said before, we will have someone on the Supreme Court that Trump can always rely on to support the constitution.
Some judges deviate and get lured into ignoring the constitution by liberals, but we know Kav will always deliver for Trump.

Maybe the republicans in charge should have them testify under oath.

No, the Senate didn't decline to give their consent. They declined to even give their consideration. Totally different scenario.

did you watch the hearing?

Kavanaugh said his father started keeping a calendar, kind of a diary, in 1978 and he decided to follow his father's example as a teen starting in 81 or 82. kavanaugh also said that he and his dad continue this family tradition to this day.

I agree, not SCOTUS material.

That's three bites at the apple for "representative democracy" to work, with increasing incentives for unity, consensus and compromise.

If these all fail, it goes back to the POTUS and he just appoints whoever he wants.
How exactly do you purpose to pass such an amendment? The Democrats and Republicans can barely pass a majority vote. A 3/4 vote will never pass under the current situation in politics. Get realistic. This will never pass. Finally, the US government is a Republic not a Democracy.

He should have kept the crying parts all in one spot though, that tends to work better.
Anger and crying. I am really glad I didn't watch.

I think this sounds like manipulation.

More of the manipulation he demonstrated with his wife during the Fox interview.

There is an upside to the GOP ramming their candidate through.

Aside from the fact that there will always be a cloud over this guy, it will turn the blue wave into a tsunami. Many women despise Trump and the GOP already. They are very motivated to go to the polls. This will infuriate them and motivate even more people to go to the polls. The GOP is making a mockery of democracy and people are pissed.

Trump shoved two middle-aged white guys onto the court. I think he's going to find out that they do not represent the majority of the country.
