Ford needs to be thoroughly investigated. This whole episode needs to be made into a documentary. I would bet you anything there are records, emails and information showing the dems lied when they said it wasn't a strategy to delay the nomination. Seeing as the NSA has every single keystroke and word recorded... it's out there.
i would bet anything Republicans have already plowed very asset they have into digging up dirt on Ford. In fact they already tried some "fake dirt" and got caught instantly..
The right wing is super well funded , has thousands of lawyers and tens of thousands of foot soldiers if there was the slightest issue in Fords back ground you guys would be blasting it 24/7 on every media outlet and on every thread opened in the last month...
There HAS NOT been an FBI investigation into these recent claims.

Nor should there be. Teenage parties from 35 years ago are null and void. No investigation. If one were necessary, it should have been done 34-35 years ago with local law enforcement, due process, and evidence presented.
I also think Kavanaugh should not be on the Supreme Court. There is doubt about his moral character and if nothing else, this hearing showed he doesn't have the temperament for it. But I don't think it was the right thing to do to put him on the spot like this, on the national stage.
wait, you have doubt about his moral character? in what way? he had ONE accuser that cant remember details, has no corroboration to her accusations, and even TWO poeple coming forward and claiming they did the deed against ford not kavanaugh, in fact they even claim kavanaugh wasnt even there.
so what does kavanaugh have? 65 women attesting to his morality, and they are willing to testify on his behalf, in fact they ALL signed a letter AND published it for all to see. and there have been no issues with kavanaugh on the court of appeals, or whn he was in the bush white house, and he has PASSED SIX FBI background checks. sorry but your doubt doesnt even pass the smell test.

I, for one, believe if Kavanaugh is confirmed that Dr. Ford should still go to the local Maryland PD. An investigation should be conducted. If any evidence is found that he is guilty, he should be impeached from the bench and face jail time for perjury (not the assault as he was a minor).
If the investigation concludes that it either 1) never happened or 2) someone else did it, Dr. Ford should face jail time for perjury.

Nope, you are dead wrong. The law changed on July 1, 1982, when Kavanaugh was 17. He was not of legal drinking age until he was 21.

I believe that Kavanaugh DID lie, but perjury charges aren't going to happen. First off, it would be partisan on both sides to do it. Republicans don't want to do that at all and Democrats will only want that because it is a Republican court pick. Second, I point to the Roger Clemens perjury hearing next (which again was political because he dared to disagreed with the Mitchell report.) Clemens was charged with lies due to not admitting steroid use though the witness against him was biased due to a falling out with Clemens. He was let off because it wasn't proveable. I believe Kavanaugh would be a similar case if perjury charges were let. As I said, I think Kavanaugh is disgusting and shouldn't be confirmed at all but I don't think he could nor should be charged with perjury, just stalled if not removed from the process. Sorry conservatives, you picked the wrong judge, too much baggage.

In the cases of he said, she said - you look at the statements and accounts of others.
