He got choked up when he was describing the kind and spiritual act of his youngest child, his young daughter praying for his assailant, the person weaponized to attempt to destroy his livelihood, ability to provide for his family, his family reputation, the reputation of himself amongst his colleagues and friends, and to the Nation and world.

I recoiled from his viciousness; he struck me as a predator backed against the cage wall, and I didn't believe for a moment any of his crocodile tears or that his daughter "prayed" for Ford. There is nothing in his personal background that suggests he is anything other than a privileged jerk used to getting his way. That said, I could be completely wrong. We shall see.
