But it is OK for most European countries, the UK, China, Japan, most of South America, and many other countries to have UNFAIR levels of tariffs on our goods? They've had these for DECADES, making our products too expensive for their markets in many circumstances. GO TRUMP!

We have always beat everyone but the British on quality.
People around the world that can afford it, will buy stuff that will last and be used for generations.
People that can't afford it, envy those that have it and work really hard and save so they can have one too.

I have nothing against Britain, nor their products, but they are NOT known for quality. Hence the reputation of their auto industry, Lucas, Prince of Darkness, etc. They allowed UNIONS to destroy their industries from within.

EU Willing To Scrap Car Tariffs In US Trade Deal: Politico

I predict more head explosions.

#MAGA!

So far this is just like the North Korea deal....agreeing to agree. We will see. This has potential to bankrupt Ford Motor company, think trucks not cars . Wondering if their employees will think that is MAGA.

The previous admin negotiated zero tariff deal, which was trash-canned by this admin. Same with Canada, Mexico, Japan and many other countries. We had deals, which Trump threw into the wind apparently because he was not interested in even knowing what was in them.

The tariffs on our agriculture into other nations is why we have subsidize our farmers. To stay somewhat self sufficient, if the other nations that mass export to the USA decide to "cut us off"
