Many of those watching at home were disgusted by the politicization of a man’s death, and used social media to comment on the irony-filled and inappropriate spectacle of elites using a funeral service (of all places) to attack others over partisanship and a lack of decency. The applause was even worse.
You just don't understand. McCain was part of the old school where republicans and democrats reached across party lines to get things done for our country. It's an era gone though which is unfortunate because we need moderates. They are the only ones who can get things done. The speeches were about bringing back civility, respect and kindness to our country, which is what our country needs. Do you have a problem with that.
The LEFT has made everything political. Everything is now an opportunity to push their agenda. Funerals, entertainment, sports, shopping, etc. EVERYTHING. The only way to escape it is to turn all forms of media OFF.

I'm a Dem. I didn't like McCain. As a person he was iconic. I didn't like his politics. That's my disclaimer. He was a statesman and an American Icon from Arizona. He deserved this funeral. Period........ I'm not or ever will be a McCain Fan. I was and still am a fan of Prez Obama when he Kicked his butt all over DC in 2008........ I don't hate Republicans. I hate their politics and policies . Period. I don't care what political factions you are. If we are friends or nieghbor or coworkers I see you as a person and get past your affiliation. I do however look at Republicans with a side eye for electing a moron......

None taken. I think civil debate is important. Im interested In hearing everyone's story. We can debate politics and still be friends and family. That's how things get done.
