What doesn't make sense? Rational people murder upstairs neighbors because of noise??? That makes sense???? More sense then she went to the wrong apartment? Seriously?????
I don't get why so many people are looking for another explanation than the official one so far. It makes the most sense. She parked on the wrong floor one above and apparently made her way on autopilot to the apartment and was zoned out and inattentive.
So he was blasting music at 10 pm in the dark, none of his neighbors heard it, she just decided to kill him? Seriously, your theory is beyond inane.
Who said none of his neighbors heard it? What was said was that she made several complaints in the past and within 24 hours of the shooting. You cannot rule this out as a motive.

Is the apartment complex manager saying that or are just some people claiming that?

Well, because the "official" explanation is the shooter's explanation....

And your alternative explanation is whose? Some lawyer's trying to get a bigger payout or the fake news media's?
If she was trying to cover up an intentional confrontation or murder, you'd think she'd come up with a better story than she went to the wrong apartment and shot a silhouette she thought was an intruder.

I can say that this theory is stupid. She leaves for work before 7am (because if she had been working for 15 hours and it's 9:59 when she gets back home, she had to start working before 7am. When did this noise complaint for the day get called in? She heads home, and she decides to murder her upstairs neighbor. And comes up with a convoluted plan to explain the murder that still leaves her open to murder or manslaughter charges. Stupid.
Do you have a link of a credible source with the apartment management saying such?
There have been a couple of reports of noise complaints about the victim. None has been specific to the officer. They have been from the floor below which could be the officer but might not be. None have indicatd a vehement battle or anything of that sort.
