Oh okay, I was doing research for writing a screenplay before, set in the US before and talked to two American lawyers about search warrants, and he said that in the US, the items to be seized have to be put on the warrant specifically. Unless they were incorrect on that though.

Time, place, circumstance, wording.

Take a look at this real-world example. It's comprehensive enough to include every possible item that might relate to the suspected crime--see pages 6 and 7.

Oh okay, I was told by the lawyers, that you need to have probable cause for each specific item, and cannot just list any item, based on nothing less than probable cause.

Her lawyer filed for a change of venue in a very long motion.

Default Amber Guyger's trial set to start in Dallas Sept. 23

https://dfw.cbslocal.com/2019/09/16/...dallas-county/

It'll be interesting to watch this trial.

I'm curious to see what Jean's apartment looked like, what Amber could actually see when the door was opened, etc.

I do believe her when she says she thought she was shooting an intruder, but it's baffling that her powers of observation could be so "off".

Dallas police association requests 60-90 day delay in trial start to better prepare for crowd control, during the time they are stretched thin with the State Fair.

Such a promising, intelligent young man. Left his little island and was doing well for himself only to be gunned down by trigger-happy trash.

So sad.

I find myself reflexively smiling back at his photos.

Just looked like a wonderful guy, with a promising career.

I'm in the DFW area. I hope they convict her.
