Did she have some sort of previous argument with this neighbor for instance?
Noise complaints.

Why did they have her working so many hours in a job where she needs to be alert.
If, in fact, they determine that the basic cause of the shooting was overwork, then the result should be a change in department workload policy.

Unfortunately, police departments don't seem to work that way. When they can doff off a civilian shooting as something other than individual officer negligence or malfeasance (which is almost always), it seems like they never take a look at the training or polices that led to it. Their attitude is just, "Oh, well."

Face it. She drove to the wrong floor and then went on autopilot to what she believed was her apartment.

The real important thing is what happened next.
I don't think the results of any of that have been released.

Why don't they release the results of her blood test? And no matter what the result is it would put to rest the belief that the department is stonewalling. That maybe they're hiding something.

I read that but didn't know if it was true.

Door ajar...you guys see all the videos of people living in that complex showing you all the doors auto-close...pretty hard?

If you want to know what happened, listen to Shaun King's update. Apparently, she made several complaints against him for noise complaints and her apartment is right above his. So basically it looks like she went up there to confront him and she killed him, crazy.

I agree. But it would have been if there was a missing period in the crucial timing.

All this is going to surface in time. Then we will have a much more rational view of the events.

Typical Daily Mail. Even got the headline wrong. The apartment number is lighted...but that is not neon. Likely fluorescent though it might be LED. It is not neon.
