She has the right to argue. And he has the right to do a number of additional things to ding her for her unsportsmanlike conduct.

It doesn't matter, by the way, whether she saw it or not. The rule isn't, "If the player sees coaching during a match...."

Well her reputation definitely took another hit after this latest melt down. At least this time she didn't threaten to shove the ball down the refs throat. That melt down was epic.

sickofnyc will come back with, 'But she didn't actually do that....'

Yeah and Pete Rose may not have made any money from betting on major league games, but that's not the point.

Compare her behavior with that of her opponent - who was a total class act, even at her young age.

Actually I love that Naomi AGREED with Serena.

Naomi is a BLACK and Asian woman who has been raised by her BLACK Haitian family. She relates to Serena's experience and even mentioned Serena's treatment at Indian Wells as a reference point. Naomi knows that the racists are attempting to GASLIGHT Naomi and she is not having it.

I cannot see how any multi-millionaire athlete can claim to be a "victim."

But I do believe in equality. The men shouldn't get a pass, they should be fined and penalized for the same behaviors.

She could be an excellent roll model for young Black women, but instead shows them what it is like to HAVE NO CLASS.

Men don't get a pass. They've lost matches, and been fined over rule violations for decades. Who got a pass?
