Trump is already way behind on that goal. The economy grew far below 3 percent in his first year. With oil prices high, fracking is growing strongly again so Trump, like Obama gets some extra growth points for that. Obama even had a quarter of above 5% growth. These quarterly growth rates are meaningless.
How can anyone not laugh when people just a few months ago said the economy was terrible and the jobs created were all crappy jobs and now right after Trump is in office, suddenly its all rainbows and unicorns and those who struggle are losers? This is the sign of a cult. Not rational thinking.

I am sure the excuses will come as to why he couldnt achieve the goal. One thing is for sure; it is never, ever Trump's fault. Easy. Read the D3 annual reports-which were public. They were horrible 5 years before the crash. Read about the crushing liabilities they had due to massive pension costs. Read the market share reports -also public-bad for D3 a decade before they fell.
