If 50 people (or 48 or 52) were killed, and she said that, I'd call her a heartless liar. Even if only 4 died in the actual gun-fight, and but there were injuries that resulted in 50 deaths, I would call her heartless for saying that.

If Fox said 50 died, when only 4 died, then I'd call them out for lying. In the case of PR, there are many independent and credible sources that put the number around 3000, and no credible evidence to support the POTUS's nasty claims.

There's no reasoning with these people. This country is under the complete and total control of what is in reality a religious cult. It was an accepted fact that around 3000 people died in PR until Trump suddenly changed reality when he said it was in the 60s. When 'Dear Leader' can convince his followers that a lie is actually truth just by speaking, even when all evidence points to the contrary, that is a cult.

Plus, they deny they are in a cult and viciously attack anybody who questions them or disagrees with them in any way. If that isn't a cult, I don't know what is.

Ros-Lehtinen told reporters that Trump has a “warped mind that would turn this statistic into fake news” about himself.

“It might be a new low,” she said. “Boy, that’s saying something … How could you be so self-centered and try to distort the truth so much?”

... “3000 people did not die in the two hurricanes that hit Puerto Rico,” Trump tweeted. “When I left the Island, AFTER the storm had hit, they had anywhere from 6 to 18 deaths. As time went by it did not go up by much. Then, a long time later, they started to report really large numbers, like 3000.”

“This was done by the Democrats in order to make me look as bad as possible when I was successfully raising Billions of Dollars to help rebuild Puerto Rico,” he continued. “If a person died for any reason, like old age, just add them onto the list. Bad politics. I love Puerto Rico!”

Why does Trump make EVERYTHING about himself? He has no idea what compassion is.
Apparently he thinks that tweeting about how great he is solves every problem. I'm sure that the people of Puerto Rico who went without water for weeks and without electricity for months definitely feel "loved" by the POTUS. Get real and pass the paper towels.

He does think everything is about him. Period. Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
He doesn't just seem to lack empathy...he really never had it to begin with.
