Yeah it's like conservatives expect these liberal urban areas to elect Roy Moore-like Christian conservative candidates.

A ton of Beto's constituents and biggest supporters are citizens of Mexico.

then they can't vote ( unless dual citizens ) therefor, by definition, not constituents.

You're correct, so it should make sense that Beto shouldn't take into account the desires of people who aren't US citizens and who aren't in the country legally right? He doesn't represent them so why does he spend so much of his time and effort supporting them and demanding we Americans cater to their demands and desires?

Doesn't sound any worse than bringing NYC grifter values to the White House.

Texans of EVERY stripe, including the very wealthy, depend on Mexican immigrants for a vast amount of their labor and everyday jobs. In addition, the economy of Texas is very dependent on Mexico to the tune of almost 200 BILLION dollars....and pretty even (both ways).......

It would surely seem that Texas and Mexico have a lot of common interests.

Yet Trumpies try to look at that as a bad thing? I'd bet those Texans (which is most of the population, really) that benefit from that 100 Billion are very interested in a good relationship.

Uh, what definition? English?

"Constituents are people who live in a constituency. They don't necessarily have the right to vote, but are still represented by the elected person. .."
