Don't be silly. Texans know what is up. They could easily make sure employees were legal but it would cost them more.

"fewer than one third of Texas hires — 32 percent — were screened with E-Verify for the year ending June 2017, according a recent Pew Charitable Trusts report."

Sorry, you are fooling no one with words. Texas has been winking at illegals for generations....and there is only one party there in power. Put 2 and 2 together.
All I'm saying is that Beto has made it very clear that he supports illegal immigrants, sanctuary city policies and other things that hurt our state. All that other BS you just spouted off is irrelevant.

lovecrowds is afraid of Beto because he is the first Democrat candidate to really threaten a traditionally Republican Senate seat in Texas in decades. Will he win? I don't know. But he and Cruz are neck and neck in the polls, and record numbers of people have registered to vote here this year. It will be exciting no matter what happens.

Right!

He probably won't win but after a 16 point margin in the last election, if Cruz wins by 2 or 3 that says something about the future.

As I mentioned before, the stats show that all the people moving to states like TX bring their voting patterns with them. Also, younger people (the new generation - even of Texans) tend to vote more independently.

Let's not forget - LBJ was from Texas. Ann Richards. Lots of "liberals".

When and if Texas and Florida swing blue that's not a good thing for the Grand Ole Party. Right now in Florida, a virtual unknown is destroying a millionaire developer for Gov.....

Red Tide Rick may win for Senator, but he is definitely helping Floridians see what GOP "leadership" is all about. Pollution.

Ultra-liberal Democratic El Paso voting for Beto O'Rourke so seems like the residents of El Paso have no issue with arrests and citations for burglary and driving while intoxicated.

El Paso is legendary for rudeness and was voted 2nd rudest city in the world. Even the mayor of the city admitting that 70% of the Texas legislature hasn't even been to the city.

I would how many of that 70% is integrity, moral valued Republicans who have ethics and don't want to visit a city like El Paso which voted overwhelmingly for Hillary Clinton and not our cherished President and commnander and chief Donald Trump.

El Paso is a Democrats dream city: Lots of babies born because the women and men want big, juicy welfare checks from Uncle Sam, stay-at-home mothers who become diabetic early in life and consume lots of Medicaid, residents who refuse to associate with people who don't speak spanish, lots of illegal alien drop-houses.

Then again it's a failed city that is reliant on federal government handouts, federal welfare payments for all the poor children the irresponsible adults in the city have and all the Medicaid resources that are allocated to the city because it has tremendous rates of obesity, diabetes, respiratory ailments.

El Paso is the most diabetic city in America. Having been there before tremendous amounts of obesity. The city is sort of like an episode of "My 600 lb life".

41% of the mothers are stay-at-home mom's also because many households would require six-figure child care subsidies just so a women could work a $10 an hour job.

Isn’t El Paso the safest large city in Texas?

The report shows that El Paso’s rate includes two more murders than 2016, but still ranks the lowest in the Lone Star State.

Yep, such a safe city.

5 homicides in about a week from September 8th to September 15th.

El Paso is also legendary for hit and run's, illegal alien drop house.

Looks like the police standards are extremely low. Not very common for a police department to have two child abuse cases going on with-in a very short time period.

Two police officers lately have been arrested for child abuse. One for severely injuring his son less than a year old and another for drowning his baby in a bathtub.

Wonder how much of the crime they actually submit to the FBI.

I doubt El Paso will be taking for safest city crown from Gilbert, AZ and

5 homicides from September 8th to September 15th.

Triple homicide with three teenagers gunned down in broad daylight on Sep 15th

Homicide with date listed in news article September 8th,.

https://kfoxtv.com/news/local/murder...r-east-el-paso

Another homicide story from September 8th

It may not turn out the way you think

If the Fed keeps raising rates we may see another housing market implosion and that will mean the end of Californians turning Red states into purple, etc. They'll be grounded for a very long time.

At this point it's not really a question of if but actually when.

OK, my head is spinning again. Please help me.

For decades I've heard that women SHOULD BE stay at home moms. Your same "type" went completely looney when Hillary said she was going to be an activist and NOT stay at home and bake cookies. The Evangelical Right glorifies stay-at-home moms and Texans, by Gawd, has lots of Evangelicals....

So, please, explain to me why a stay at home mom is now "bad"??? Orthodox Jewish Women stay at home (and many collect welfare). Lots of white Christian moms stay at home and collect all kinds of benefits.

In fact, I'd bet most of the moms you are discussing are religious Christians.

Please - my head is spinning. Explain. Is it "liberal" now to stay at home and raise kids?
