There is no promise broken by Trump. The promise was broken by congress back in 2006. Trump is doing all he can to see that they fulfill their promise. It's ain't over till the fat lady sings. So you can't say any promises he has made have been broken yet. Trump never said that Mexico would write a check for it. Do I need to post the link again what his plan is? Doesn't matter anyway. The wall is well needed and is cost effective to the taxpayer. I'd gladly pay my fair share if I had to than the over $100 billion a year that illegal aliens costs us not to mention the national security risks of a porous border.

He promised to veto it if it didn't contain money for a wall. It's a great applause line he uses at his rallies, probably as recently as two or three days ago. But he didn't veto it. He signed it. Quietly, without any of the usual fanfare.

No, he said Mexico would play for the wall. But how will that happen?
If you put a 20% import duty on goods coming from Mexico, that's not Mexico paying for the wall. Like all taxes, that simply is passed onto the consumer. So you pay $1.20 for a cucumber instead of $1. 20 cents goes to the the US government. The American consumer pays for the wall. Mexico gets economically hurt because higher prices mean less trade, but they're still not paying for the wall.
Name how it's his fault that the wall hasn't been built yet! Did he ever give a time line on it? He will still be in office for several more years.
He isn't in office now and never has been. To keep the government running, his staff members have to exclude him from as much as possible and work around him, as though he wasn't there.
