Why did Trump beg Wall Street for money to fund his election campaign? You dont believe he actually spent his own money do you?
Big business owners love the cheap labor that the illegals bring with them. It's really not hard to figure out.

Yes, Trump loves cheap labor on his properties and has sought to expand visa policies for foreign low skilled workers that he wants. But thats not what I asked though. Do you or do you not believe that big business owners want to turn America into a socialist country where corrupt Wall Street bankers are jailed and workers own the means of production?

No I don't. I think that a lot of the democratic party does want to do that, and they need the votes of the illegals - who eventually turn into citizens - to make that happen. Here's the bottom line - and I've said it for years on these boards --- nobody is watching out for middle class America - the people who get up every day and go to work and pay their bills and play by the rules. Each of the two big parties has their reasons why they love illegal immigration - and middle America gets screwed over. This is the reason - and not some ridiculous Russian collusion thing - that Trump won the election !!

Mike? Mike? Where are you? Anything to add?

Not only does Trump love cheap labor, so does Nunes.

His family moved their dairy farm from California to Iowa where they run it with undocumented labor.

Huge Trump supporters in this farming community. All would go under without undocumented labor.

Trump isn't ever going to build that wall of his.

Trump is another big business owner, corrupt to the core, packed his administration with Wall Street big shots. Of course he is not going to push for something when even his voters excuse him no matter what he does.

Socialism means workers owning the means of production. Not government. I have not heard a single democrat who is funded by big business who wants to jail corrupt Wall Street crooks and push for workers to own the means of production. Big business democrats are just marginally different than any mainstream republican. They have the same goals because they have the same donors. Goldman Sachs call the shots in a system where unlimited sums of money can be spent on elections and labor unions are destroyed. If we want change for the working man and woman, we must start finding the guts to take on the billionaire class and strengthen labor unions and get big money out of politics. Cant elect corrupt puppets of Wall Street like Trump, the GOP and corporate democrats and think that will solve anything.

He also has a plan (link posted) to make Mexico pay for it involuntarily. It's not Trump's wall anyway. It's the 700 mile long wall already approved by congress back in 2006. Why aren't you holding them accountable for not funding it?
The house just passed a bill extending the tax cut why couldn't they do the same here if they are so interested and send it over to the senate. The congressmen that have any interest in a wall are an extreme minority, they could have brought this up in 2017. I doubt the new house leader will be willing to fight this battle with the budget deficit escalating.

Trump wanted $5B for the wall, the DOD was able to squeak by with a measly $17B increase maybe he can rearrange his priorities. This is where presidents are supposed to show some leadership rather than just criticizing his own party.

The Congress never intended to fund the Wall. They only passed the wall legislation to appease the people who want the wall.

The congress understands who butters their bread. And those people want illegals to do their work. Meanwhile all the pro wall and anti wall are using 'The Wall' for fund raising. The wall is a ploy.

Anyone with half a brain knew that wall was a lie and a fantasy. It was simply campaign rhetoric , nothing more.

Even Trump has stopped talking about it, hoping it goes away.
